St. George, Utah Visitors Guide
St. George was founded by members of the Latter Day Saints and is the closest town to Zion National Park, making it a favorite base camp for many area guests. - Brigham Young Winter Home- See where Mr. Young spent the winter months of the last 4 years of his life. The home contains original furnishings and assorted mementos.
- Pine Valley Chapel- Built by famed shipbuilder Ebenezer Bryce, this beautiful chapel is still used today. Resembling an upside-down ship, the chapel was first constructed on the ground then raised and joined with wooden pegs and rawhide.
- Tuacahn Amphitheatre- Located just outside of St. George, this is a great place to spend an evening. Shows here include classics like West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Singin' in the Rain.
