Utah Tourism Guide
Utah is a state of contradictions- you will find the Great Basin Desert that looks much like the moon’s surface and areas where lakes abound (as do the many fishing opportunities). There are the Wasatch Mountains which are part of the Rockies of Colorado and the sandstone and rock formations of the South-no matter where you roam in Utah you are sure to be delighted by its topographical and geological diversity.
Because of the influence of the Mormons-making up over 60% of the population-the crime rate for the state is one of the lowest in the nation, so it is an ideal place to raise a family or simply get away from the hustle and bustle of life in one’s home state. You will find a long list of activities such as camping, fishing, any number of snow related sports, and of course, shopping , fine dining and many cultural events that are held all year.
So pack your bags and come visit Utah. It’s a beautiful state where you can enjoy whatever activities you like best.
